Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question for Dr. Preet? Before you give us a call, be sure to read through the helpful page below. Here, you’ll find answers to many of the most common questions our team receives every day. Of course, if we haven’t answered your question here, we encourage you to contact us any time by phone or email. We’re always happy to talk to you and make sure you understand all of your available dental options.
How often should I get a checkup and cleaning?
Dr. Preet agrees with the American Dental Association’s recommendation on this one: patients of all ages should receive at least two checkups and cleanings each year in order to prevent the most common dental problems. This is by far the most conservative and effective approach to stop tooth decay, cavities, and gum disease long-term (in addition to consistent oral hygiene at home).
Do you accept children?
Yes! Dr. Preet and our team just love treating Bellevue’s youngest smiles! As a mother herself, Dr. Preet understands better than most the importance of early-age dental care. She and the rest of our team will go out of their way to ensure your little one’s comfort as we provide the services their growing smile needs.
Can you help with a dental emergency?
Yes! If you are dealing with a knocked-out tooth or severe toothache, please don’t hesitate to give our office a call right away. We’ll do everything we can to see you as soon as possible and provide the relief you need.
I think I might have a cavity. What should I do?
If you’re experiencing a slight toothache or notice a discolored spot on one of your teeth, the best thing to do is give us a call. If we discover that you have a cavity, we can easily fix it in just one appointment with a tooth-colored filling. Unlike traditional fillings, these are designed to completely blend in with the smile and be practically invisible within the mouth.
How long does it take to have a damaged tooth repaired?
This answer will be different from person to person depending on their particular needs, but in most cases, we’re able to fully repair broken and damaged teeth in just one appointment using fillings. With us, you’ll enjoy the fastest treatment possible without a compromise in quality!
Can you make my smile look better even if I have multiple issues?
Every person is different. In most cases, with porcelain veneers, we can completely get rid of noticeable stains, chips, cracks, and gaps in just two easy appointments. Thin ceramic coverings are fitted directly over the teeth, and these are designed to look like pristine white enamel to create a flawless smile.
Will you accept my dental insurance?
Bellevue Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is ready to accept a long list of dental insurance plans from several of the most popular providers. We’re even able to provide in-network benefits for many of them! To learn how we can use your particular plan to help you save at your next appointment, contact us today.
Is it possible for me to finance my dental care?
Yes! If you would like to break up the cost of your care into smaller monthly payments, you can qualify for a low-to-no-interest financing plan with CareCredit through our website. To explore their different plans and even sign up for one today, click on the button on our New Patients page.
